Hi Karen. This is so key and I quote: When we are fatigued, we are much more susceptible to our negative emotional triggers.
I was feeling particularly overwhelmed when I returned from the East coast last week I live on the West coast. Had I stepped back and given myself a couple of days to recover I wouldn't have felt as overwhelmed. Next time I return from a trip I will give myself a couple of days grace before diving into work again! Thanks for the reminder.

Great article Karen! I love your reminder on being present to how you feel. So much of our anxiety or fear lies outside the present and just getting back to that place as you recommend, really helps bring you back into alignment. Will definitely keep this in mind as I go throughout my day!
